Artemis Wins News Media Analysis Contract with VA
Artemis recently won a $2 million contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs (OPIA) to provide media analysis support.

Under this contract, Artemis will collect, monitor, analyze and report on specific media topics, categories and subcategories for OPIA and the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration on a local, regional and national level across various mediums. The reports capture relevant articles from newspapers, magazines, trade press, blogs, television, radio, social media and more.

OPIA provides Veterans and their families with information about VA benefits and programs, including eligibility and operations to various public entities and administration policy and priorities. It is responsible for coordinating and orchestrating the release of such external communications for VA, three administrations and other offices throughout VA. The office also maintains relationships with media representatives and monitors print and broadcast news activity, responding to data and agency operations and policy inquiries. These media clips and analysis services help OPIA maintain awareness of, track and respond to media coverage related to VA and Veteran issues.

“We are excited to be supporting OPIA in this capacity,” said Jess Overbeck, director of communications and marketing. “Through strategic media analysis and comprehensive reporting, we’re helping ensure VA is informed about and responsive to media coverage and that Veteran voices are heard.”
